The WKS Group focuses on rotary web offset printing in German-speaking Europe and environmental protection plays a central role within their company. Since the goal was to make their new environmental statement available primarily as a digital publication, the analogue, haptic world (paper structure, cut edges, etc.) was transported into the digital world. For the individual chapters, environmental symbols were made of paper collages, photographed and used as key visuals. At the same time, the linear graphics and illustrations form a design counterpoint to the factual part of the explanation.
Within the scope of a pro-bono project a new look for KPNN, a network for palliative care of terminally ill children, was created. The logo acts as a visual platform for the developed iconography concept. The symbolic imagery manages to communicate the sensitive content of this topic in a subtle, focused manner. Every now and then, one of the numerous illustrations depicts a ship, which serves as a stylistic device representing the transition between life and death. The simple, stylized illustrations manage to achieve a high level of visual distinctiveness which were used on the new website.
The black-and-white monochrome logo resembles a fork with a modern, minimalist root system. The name of the restaurant Soul Food resonates with the menu of the restaurant, which combines Southern-style BBQ sliders and fried chicken on waffles with traditional Middle Eastern ingredients like pomegranate molasses, sumac, and tahini. In response, the design explores the connection between food, represented by the fork, and culture, represented by the roots. The logo is incorporated throughout the brand identity of the restaurant based in Amman, Jordan.
To create the design of the brand Pride, the team used the study of the target audience in several ways. Henshin is a Japanese Restaurant in a five-star hotel brand in Jakarta, which is a contemporary dining experience with an edge. The design concept inspired by the restaurant name, Henshin which meaning to change or transform and it always appear in Japanese comics books. Introduce one of the most iconic Japanese dishes, Octopus and reform it into an abstract dancing tentacle. It is a self-explaining character of the restaurant theme, Transforming and Henshin.
The designer highlighted the festival's creative with bright colors in order to bring emotion up and captivate the target audience. Art was the starting point, using multicultural images with a motif of a global union, carefully treated with hand-made artistic effects. This helped to build a consistent identity for all design applications, such as Advertising, Stationary and collateral pieces.
