Madame Butterfly

The idea of the designer behind the opera posters was to create an iconic portrait of a singing/shouting woman, the main figure in opera plot, as a symbol of uncontrolled passion. The goal was to show the tragic and dependent role of a woman in libretto of such operas as Madame Butterfly, Tosca or Norma in the form of iconic and expressive interpretation. On all posters the composition represents the final scene - culmination moment of the opera story. Designer was inspired by the suprimatic posters of Kazimir Malevich and by the painting of Edvard Munch "The Scream".

Fck 2020

What is the purpose of the design? Be functional, beautiful, comfortable, stimulating. And, at times, liberating. Fck 2020 is a self-promotional calendar that celebrates the arrival of 2021 by making fun of the damned 2020. Twelve months of colors, dreams, big and small desires enclosed in a limited edition design object. After a 2020 full of “less”, Fck 2020 Calendar it's a wish for a 2021 full of “more”, a talisman, an invitation to turn the page with a smile.

Muse

Muse is an experimental design project studying the musical perception of the human through three installation experiences which provide different ways to experience music. The first is purely sensational using thermo-active material, and the second display the decoded perception of musical spatiality. The last is a translation between music notation and visual forms. People are encouraged to interact with the installations and explore the music visually with their own perception. The main message is that designers should be aware of how perception affects them in practice.

Flexo InForm

Flexo InForm is an assembly pavilion derived from an innovative design processes oriented to geometric-material performance. The process developed begins with the parametric discretization of a complex geometry inspired by the weaving of natural fibers typical of the Argentine Littoral region. Simulation algorithms use active bending behavior as a design tool applied to structures that base their geometry on the elastic deformation of laminar elements. The result is a low-cost mono-material pavilion, self-supporting, adaptable to any terrain topography, low weight and fast assembly.

Love and Blind

“Visually impaired people” are not completely blind. They are individuals who still have ideas, dreams, and still want to accomplish goals with the strength of their hands. The SPARKLY design concept is based on love and environmental protection expressed in the theme “LOVE & BLIND (love is not blind).”The design takes the ubiquitous Snellen eye test chart as its point of departure. For the product packaging material selected boxes made from recycled cardboard, the size of a stationery box. Consumers can keep the packaging for future reuse, adding another eco-friendly touch.

WKS Group

The WKS Group focuses on rotary web offset printing in German-speaking Europe and environmental protection plays a central role within their company. Since the goal was to make their new environmental statement available primarily as a digital publication, the analogue, haptic world (paper structure, cut edges, etc.) was transported into the digital world. For the individual chapters, environmental symbols were made of paper collages, photographed and used as key visuals. At the same time, the linear graphics and illustrations form a design counterpoint to the factual part of the explanation.
