Tearalab logo design

Tearalab logo design is for a Korean and Japanese fusion bubble tea restaurant. Designer Yao inspiration comes from a laboratory test. To make a great bubble tea one must go through multiple experiments to find a good flavor. The design breaks the shackles of traditional cup elements. It introduces everyday consumers with a direct and simple element that reflects a delicate contracted design with elegant temperament.

Extra Sharp

The brief required us to create a print advert that is visually driven and captures the essence of the product and what it does. My concept is based on the predatory analogy to dramatize the sharpness of Wüsthof chef’s knife. The T-rex (chef’s knife) will effortlessly slice through your larger chunks of meat.

Shapeshifting

Throughout the illustrations, a story is told about an adventurous brother and sister in an unknown world. In their travels, they experience new things and come across a shapeshifting cat that guides them. The inspiration behind the illustrations comes from the love of big cats, adventure, and childhood. The challenge was to understand the meaning behind the creation of a cat and to draw one that is ambiguous, perfect, and extremely cute. Lithography provides the ability to bring the world of imagination and art to life with the delicacy and finesse of the lines.

Grimm Reality

Drawing parallels from the four Grimm’s fairytales such as Rapunzel, Cinderella, Snow White and Red Riding Hood, the project looks at how the good natured cautionary advices have been amplified and played out in the society in a way that they have now become more restrictive and poisonous. Grimm Reality is an unbound publication coming together in a clamshell box encasing 8 individual artworks that are based on at least one of the four fairytales and is correlated to an incident or statement made in India. Each artwork is dynamic and adds to the narrative when interacted with

This brand identity was designed to match the luxury and quality of Utopia Health & Fitness, a Sydney gym positioned to set a new precedent in the contemporary fitness experience. The design of the logo took inspiration from the infinity symbol, in reference to the brand's limitless focus on well-being and providing the highest-end facilities. The refined combination of gold tones with white marble distinguish the fitness destination as a premium life choice.
